** Important Renewal Information **
Due to Covid-19, the Illinois State Police have extended the expiration dates for the Illinois Concealed Carry License and FOID card. If your license has an expiration date of March 2020 forward, the expiration date will be listed online as Covid-19. If your CCL or FOID falls into these dates it is still valid even though it shows expired on the card. This means that you have until 18 months after the declared end of the pandemic to renew your Concealed Carry License or FOID card. You CAN renew the Concealed Carry License before taking the class if you have the renew button available to you in the portal. We recommend renewing your license or FOID as soon as the option is available whether you have completed the class or not. After you take the class, you will need to upload your certificate when the option is available to you online.
This is the Illinois Concealed Carry Permit RENEWAL class. This class is required every 5 years to renew your Illinois permit. This is a 4 hour class that includes a classroom review of the Federal and Illinois gun laws including FOID, transportation, and the carry law. We will shoot a re-qualification for the Illinois permit that will be the same as your original qualification. 30 rounds with 10 being fired from 5, 7, and 10 yards. You must score a minimum of 70% to qualify. We will also cover use of force and gun safety. In this class we will discuss the concealed carry lifestyle and help you with any issues that you may have run into so we can help make it more comfortable and practical for your everyday life. Please contact us for more details and to register for either class. Preregistration is required.
