Welcome to WISE Firearm Training

We’d love to help you obtain your firearm training! We are passionate about our dedication to safety and quality instruction. We have been providing top notch firearm training to the Quincy, IL area since 2010.

We have a well rounded staff consisting of three instructors. We are all Certified NRA Basic Pistol Instructors, Illinois Concealed Carry Instructors, and Utah Concealed Carry Instructors.  We are also certified to teach NRA Personal Protection In the Home, NRA Personal Protection Outside The Home, and NRA Refuse To Be A Victim.  Between us, we have a retired Chicago police sergeant who spent 30 years on the job with many experiences all the way from the streets to the courtroom, including field training officer and range instructor,  a competitive shooter,  certified range officers, the only lady instructor in Adams County and our lead instructor has been providing quality instruction to this area for over ten years.

We will always cover all the material required by the course and more. We will always follow all the rules and all laws. We spend time furthering our training and keeping on top of the constant changes. When you choose WISE Firearm Training, you will not be disappointed.

Our Handgun Fundamentals class and Illinois Concealed Carry class are state certified and taught by NRA and state certified instructors so they will also qualify you for a non-resident  Florida Concealed Weapons permit.

If you haven’t been to our purpose built WISE qualification area, we can’t wait for you to attend your next course and see it. You are going to love the safe, custom set up. When our line is live, we have a maximum of 6 shooters to a minimum of 3 instructors! New shooters work one-on-one with an instructor to ensure a great first experience.
